Our Beliefs
- Scripture
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired Word of God, originally given without error, and the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. - The Triune God
We believe in one true and living God who eternally exists as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in nature, power, and glory. God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. - God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite and personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He graciously involves Himself in human affairs, hears and answers prayer, and offers salvation to all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. - Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, taught with divine authority, performed miracles, and willingly gave His life as a sacrifice for sin. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, continually intercedes for believers, and will return personally and visibly to establish His Kingdom. - The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers those who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, serving as Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We affirm the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit and the continued operation of spiritual gifts within the Church. - Humanity and Salvation
We believe all people are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore separated from God. Salvation is received by God’s grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are made new and empowered for godly living and service. - The Church
We believe in the universal Church, the spiritual body made up of all believers in Jesus Christ, with Christ Himself as the Head. - Ordinances and Ministry Practices
We believe Jesus Christ established two ordinances for the Church: baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, both observed by believers. We also affirm the biblical practice of the laying on of hands for prayer, healing, ordination, and the exercise of spiritual gifts. - Last Things
We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal separation for those who reject Christ. - Marriage, Sexuality, and Human Dignity
We affirm the historic Christian understanding that God designed sexual intimacy to be expressed within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. At the same time, we believe the church is called to reflect the love and grace of Jesus by welcoming all people. Acceptance of individuals does not require affirmation of every belief or behavior. - Life of Transformation
We believe following Jesus is a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and transformation through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, as believers grow in faith, obedience, and Christ-centered living.
